11, 2009 is Remembrance Day! "They
shall grow not old as we that are left, grow old; age shall not weary them nor
the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will
remember them……"
Take
some time on Remembrance Day if you can, to join a Remembrance ceremony and to
reflect on the blessings we enjoy as Canadians because of the sacrifices and
achievements of our veterans. To
honour the memory of all Canadians who have served their country in time of war,
the National Flag of Canada will be flown at half-mast on all Government of
Canada buildings and establishments across the country from sunrise to sunset on
Remembrance Day, Wednesday, November 11, 2009.
